Yes, every dumpster comes with a weight allowance that varies based on the container size and the type of debris being disposed of. For example, heavy materials like concrete, dirt, or roofing shingles can quickly add weight, even if the dumpster isn’t completely full.

Yes, most bulky household items can be placed in a dumpster. This includes mattresses, box springs, couches, chairs, tables, and appliances without hazardous components (such as refrigerators or air conditioners containing freon). Some localities may have restrictions or surcharges for certain bulky items, so it’s always a good idea to confirm with us before disposal.

Yes, most of our roll-off dumpsters feature large swing doors at one end. These doors allow you to walk in heavy or oversized items, making loading safer and more efficient. Once larger items are inside, you can layer smaller debris on top to maximize space. Always ensure the door is securely closed before pickup.

Dumpsters are most commonly placed in driveways, parking pads, or other flat, stable surfaces. For safe drop-off and pickup, our trucks generally need about 60 feet of clearance in length and 10 feet in width. The area should also be free of vehicles, low-hanging branches, wires, or other obstructions. If you have a specific placement preference, you can mark the spot with cones or tape, or provide instructions when booking.
