To get ready for a dumpster delivery, locate a flat, stable spot like a driveway or sturdy gravel surface. Move vehicles and anything that could block access, such as low branches or wires. For added surface protection, place boards beneath the dumpster’s wheels. Make sure the area is accessible and let us know if there are any tight spaces or special concerns.

Dumpster rentals fit a wide variety of projects, including home cleanouts, renovations, roofing jobs, landscaping, garage decluttering, construction, estate cleanouts, commercial cleanups, retail build-outs, storm cleanup, or post-event debris removal. If your project will produce substantial waste or bulky debris, renting a dumpster is the safest, fastest solution.

You should never attempt to move a dumpster after delivery. Roll-off dumpsters are very heavy and require special trucks to relocate them safely. If the dumpster needs to be repositioned, please contact our customer service team—moving it yourself could cause property damage or be a safety hazard.

You can place general household junk, construction waste, furniture, yard debris, wood, drywall, roofing shingles, some appliances, and concrete (in limited amounts) in the dumpster. Hazardous materials like paint, chemicals, tires, electronics, batteries, and propane tanks are not allowed. If you’re unsure about specific items, ask us before disposing of them to avoid extra fees.

To protect your driveway or surface, choose a firm, flat area for placement, such as concrete or compacted gravel. You can lay plywood under the wheels to minimize scratches or dents. Avoid putting the dumpster on soft ground and let us know about any concerns when you schedule delivery so we can help keep your property safe.
