Furniture, mattresses, and appliances are generally accepted as long as restricted materials are removed. Be sure refrigerants or hazardous components are handled properly. If you have especially heavy or oversized items, let us know when you book so we can recommend the best loading methods. Landfills may add extra fees for certain bulky items.

You can place general household junk, construction debris, wood, roofing shingles, yard waste, and limited concrete in the dumpster. Items like paint, solvents, batteries, propane tanks, TVs, and hazardous materials are not permitted. If you’re unsure about something specific, ask before loading to avoid issues.

Place the dumpster on a flat, solid surface such as concrete or asphalt. Using plywood under the wheels can help protect your driveway. Avoid softer ground like grass, which can shift under weight. If you’re concerned, we’ll review placement options with you during scheduling.

Each dumpster has a set weight limit shared at booking. Going over this limit results in prorated overage charges, usually by ton. Heavy materials like concrete, brick, or shingles are the most likely to exceed limits. Use our dumpster weight calculator and discuss your project details to avoid surprise fees.

Cancellations can be made before your scheduled delivery, usually without fees if done 24 hours in advance (excluding credit card processing fees). If the dumpster has already been dispatched, a trip or cancellation fee may apply. Full details are given at booking so there’s no confusion.

You are responsible for the contents of your dumpster, even if others add them. To prevent this, keep the dumpster in a secure location or use a tarp to cover it when not in use. Unauthorized or restricted materials may result in additional charges.
