The best way to protect your property is to place the dumpster on a firm, flat surface like concrete or asphalt. To further reduce the risk of scratches, scrapes, or cracking, we suggest laying down plywood or sturdy boards under the dumpster’s wheels.

No, dumpsters must never be filled past the rim. Items sticking out above the top create transportation hazards, as debris can shift or fall onto roads during hauling. Additionally, state and local regulations require dumpsters to be securely tarped before transport, which cannot be done if materials extend above the rim.

No, once delivered, dumpsters should not be moved. Roll-off containers are extremely heavy and require specialized trucks and equipment for safe relocation. Attempting to move one yourself could damage your driveway, yard, or nearby property and may also create safety risks.
