For added protection, you can put plywood under the dumpster’s wheels to prevent surface damage. Make sure there’s enough space for both delivery and pickup and inform us in advance of any unique access challenges.

No, dumpsters should never be filled above their rim. This is a safety issue, making transport dangerous and sometimes illegal. If debris is over the rim, the pickup may be refused or additional charges may apply. Always keep the load level with or below the top.

You can put most large items like furniture and mattresses in your dumpster, but avoid prohibited materials. For appliances, ensure hazardous elements are removed as required by law. Let us know if you have especially heavy or oversized items for guidance on proper loading and any potential landfill restrictions.

It’s not required to be onsite for delivery or removal, provided you’ve given clear placement instructions and ensured easy access. If you prefer to oversee placement, you’re welcome to be there—but as long as the dumpster area is accessible and the load is below the rim, we can handle it for you.
